My first venture into the wide world of food blogs begins today! To introduce myself, I’m something of a self-taught / Food Network-taught / Italian mom-taught cook who loves her little DC-area galley kitchen. After growing up in a big Italian household, four years of college, and a few years of community living, I’ve finally got my own little kitchen/haven/experiment lab for all things culinary. Woohoo!
While I’m slowly building a repertoire of Galley Gal specialties from homemade pizza to upside-down cakes (and my ability to turn an intended omelet into an avant-garde “scramble” is pretty stellar), there’s always more to learn. Here’s to cooking, prepping, kitchen-ing, and a little bit of everything else thrown in!
